COVID-19: Access to Information, Health Service, Daily Life Facility and Risk Perception of Foreigners during Coronavirus pandemic in South Korea

Introduction Coronavirus disease outbreak has become a top global challenge. Critical issues have emerged regarding access to information, health services, and daily necessities. Effective such components is expected promote public safety survival as well help combat social fear risk perception. This study aims fill this gap by exploring perceptions of access, risk, government response during the COVID-19 outbreak. Material methods A quantitative field survey using structured mailed questionnaire was conducted collect primary data from 100 foreigners living in various cities South Korea. Access necessities, overall perception were examined based on individual reports sources, availability, credibility, satisfaction. Results Our finding suggest that are receiving reliable information private sources. Although protection measures perceived limited due measures, respondents tended perceive an satisfactory terms providing resources reducing risks related COVID-19. Conclusions Model analysis indicates gender, home location, duration stay significantly lower levels provides new lens for policymakers, administrators, academicians which they can ensure smooth health, necessities containment coronavirus.
